Brenda Farr began her career in the insurance industry in 1964 with an international property and casualty agency, quickly rising to become Vice President of Administration for the firm’s Los Angeles office by 1975. In 1976, she completed the professional management program at UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Business, further solidifying her foundation as a respected leader in the field.
In 1985, Brenda brought her expertise to Farr Johnen & Associates, where she established and led the Employee Benefits division. Known for her dedication to closely held corporations and family-owned businesses, Brenda built her reputation on personal communication, hands-on service, and a deep commitment to client relationships. Her warmth, professionalism, and unique presence made her not only a trusted advisor, but someone deeply respected and well-loved by clients and colleagues alike.
Now enjoying retirement in Ojai with her husband, Gary, Brenda continues to contribute to the community that means so much to her.
